Curriculum Activities

National Academy School not only believes in the academic growth of the students but also

takes care of their Social, moral and Spiritual growth in the campus.

The curriculum is designed to ensure an effective and cognitive education. Students are

given a strong foundation for future growth through projects and various scholastic

activities.

Weekly and periodical assessments are given to ensure academic competence, provide

quality education and provide intensive preparation for assessments. Parents are

encouraged to discuss their child’s progress with the class teacher on all second

Saturdays. The curriculum is flexible enough to be offered, explored, and encouraged in

line with the school’s values and objectives.

The pedagogy seeks to incorporate the best teaching methods to inspire and excite

each student with a love of learning as a lifelong challenge.

Current curriculum includes English, Tamil, Third Language (Hindi), Mathematics,

Science, Social Science, Computer Science, Value Education, Arts and Craft, Physical

Education.

Extra curricular Activities: Carrom, Karatae, Silambam, Dance, Yoga, Arabic, Keyboard play

Clubs: Eco club, Green corps, Scout and Guide, JRC

day, color day, Religious festivals, National youth day, Teachers day, children’s day,

School Election, sports day, cultural day, Dr. Ramanuja day, Field trips.

The Goal behind all these curriculum activities is to encourage Leadership skills,

Intelligence, Spiritual values, self-confidence and 4cs of 21 st century skills –

communication, collaboration, critical thinking and creativity which support the students

for their future.
